Truro is approx 1.5 hours from the M5 Exeter junction, & 15 minutes from the A30. You’ll find us almost in the centre of Truro. Hotel VARA is located on Falmouth Road, a leafy residential area in the city of Truro, & walking distance of the city centre.

HOTEL PARKING

The hotel has on - site parking. The main hotel VARA car park is located at the rear of the hotel, accessed via Park View. It’s free of charge for all guests staying in our hotel. We also have a dedicated accessible parking bay, & EV charging.

BEST WAY TO TRAVEL TO CORNWALL USING PUBLIC TRANSPORT

By Rail - Catch a train direct to Truro. The station is only a 15 minute walk away or 5 minutes by taxi. For more information visit www.thetrainline.com Hourly trains out of London depart from London Paddington. 

By Air - There are regular flights to Cornwall Newquay Airport from major hubs around the UK. Once you land, it’s just a 45 minute car or taxi ride away to Truro. For public transport from Newquay Airport. There's also car rental. 

GETTING AROUND 

By Bus - There is a bus stop directly outside of the hotel. The route takes you into Truro or to Falmouth. Our reception team will be happy to provide you with any further information & travel advice. There is a regular service every 30 minutes or so, starting from approximately 6.45am until 10.30pm. Truro has a central bus station. Timetable 

Car Rentals Truro - There are several major car rental companies in Truro if you need to hire a car.
